Our Keeshonden : Current Stars

Our Keeshonden aren’t just part of the family at home but have made their statement in the show ring or competition ring. They have also passed screening for inherited health problems and have solid temperaments. Inherited problems that should be screened at two years of age are Hip Dysplasia, PHPT, Sub-luxating Patella's, Elbow Dysplasia, Thyroid, Heart and Eye problems. All females accepted for breeding to one of the studs must be a good representative of the breed, good temperament and be screened clear of these inherited problems. Teller is an import from David Matthews in England. He is tightly line breed on both sides of the pedigree. He offers many virtues to the Keeshond in the US. He has a short back, long neck, nice tail set. He is a balanced mover. Teller's coat texture and color are perfect! He won BOB at the 2009 Eukanuba dog show. In March of 2010 he won Best of Breed at the NCKC specialty. He has cleared all health tests, eyes, hips, elbows, patellas, thyroid, PHPT and cardiac.
