Our trainer, Jean Gauchat-Hargis is here at Woodland Veterinary Hospital full time to offer assistance with any behavior problems you may have with your dog. We also have two training assistants Sara Brooks and Beth Wilts to help you achieve your goals!All classes are taught using positive reinforcement techniques, making it an enjoyable experience for both you and your pet. This method of training strengthens the relationship of dog and handler based on trust not fear. Canine problem solving is Jean’s specialty having trained over 6,500 dogs in her 17 years of experience.

Our training classes start for puppies as young as 8 weeks old. We offer different levels for your dog to learn and grow! Agility is a fun sport for you and your dog to learn different obstacles going through in and over! Rally'O is obedience with a twist of agility!
A Canine Good Citizen is a friendly, well behaved dog.... a dog who behaves well in a crowd, has good manners when guests visit, reliable around children and who doesn't lunge, bark at or threathen other dogs or passerby. The CGC is a certification program our trainer is qualified to evaluate by the AKC.
