Training

Our trainer, Jean Gauchat-Hargis is here to offer you and your family assistance with any questions or behavior problems you may have. 25 years experience of training over 6000 dogs in classes, handling, raising and conditioning many different breeds for competitions. If you need advice before you get your puppy; in choosing the right breed from a reputable breeder or if you have your furry friend in hand we can help you achieve your goals. We don't use pinch collar and choke chain kind of training and instead use all positive reinforcement. We find this training is much less stressful on the dogs as well as your family. Training is a fun, rewarding experience that will strengthen the bond you and your dog share.

Jean offers both group classes and private training in the comfort of your home!

Whether you are looking for a well-behaved companion or an event competitor, Jean's method of positive reinforcement will help you achieve your goal.

Jean & Sunny

Our training classes start for puppies as young as 8 weeks old. Below is a description of the classes we currently offer. If you are interested in enrolling in a class we would like to take a moment to thank you for choosing to train your dog with us. In an effort to make the check-in process easier, we need your completed registration form, dog’s vaccine records and payment 3 days prior to the start of your training class. You are welcome to email us the form and vaccine records and pay over the phone, or stop by our location at your convenience. For the Puppy Star Class, your dog must be vaccinated with at least one DHPP. For the Basic Manners Class, your dog must be current on Bordetella, DHPP, and Rabies at 16 weeks and older, that have been administered by a veterinarian. We recommend pets receive these vaccines at least 2 weeks prior for full immunity, when possible.

Below you will find links to the new class dates, calendar schedules and registration form.
